What is sublimation printing?
Sublimation printing, also referred to as dye sublimation printing, is a printing method for transferring images onto a substrate (usually a cloth material such as polyester). Sublimation refers to a process where a substance moves from a solid to a gas state without ever being in a liquid state. Sublimation printing normally involves the use of a digital printer to produce mirrored images on paper that has been specially coated with a transfer material.
2.Compatible printers
Common inkjet printer: EpsonC65、830u、R210、R310、R800、1520K、EX3、1290、2100、Lenovo：CJ100 and so on。
High speed inkjet printer: Epson3000、4000、4000HS、7600、9600、10600；Roland、Mutoh、Encad、Mimaki and so on.
3.Sublimation ink is adapted to the product
When the heat is removed from the transfer paper and substrate, the ink that has permeated the substrate fibers solidifies and is locked permanently into place by the transfer material. Assuming the procedure has been performed correctly, the image should never be subject to deterioration beyond that of the substrate itself. Ink of good quality will lead to brilliant colour and good stability, and the ink will not block the nozzle.
4.Proper Chroma
Chroma should be adjusted through computer to avoid too much ink and not easy to dry.Transfer effect should be tested after the adjustment.
5.Proper heat pressing temperature and time
The temperature of the heat press ranges from 180-230 centigrade degree, and the time period ranges from 10-30 seconds. The best technological parameter should be determined through test before mass transferring.
6.Press closely
The transfer paper and the media should be pressed closely seamlessly.Otherwise blurring pictures will be caused.
